Iran is "flimsier than a spider's web, and with God's help, what comes will be worse and more bitter", the group said in a statement on the Telegram messaging app. The border region, home to a large ethnic Arab community, was a major battleground of the conflict and saw ethnic unrest in 2005 and 2011. |

Speaking at a conference, Bolton also said the United States would be "aggressive and unwavering" in enforcing economic sanctions on Iran that are resuming after Washington withdrew from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal. |

Now, a coalition of American nuns is pressuring Smith & Wesson, which rebranded itself as "American Outdoor Brands", to produce a report for shareholders outlining how the company is monitoring "violent events associated with" its products, and what efforts it is making to "produce safer guns". Sister Judy Byron, representing the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, is leading the shareholder resolution effort, backed by 10 other religious groups, including Catholic Health Initiatives, the Sisters of Bon Secours, USA and the Sisters of St Francis of Philadelphia. |

Austrian fruit grower jailed over bee deaths Posted: 26 Sep 2018 09:33 AM PDT An Austria fruit grower was handed a rare prison sentence Wednesday for having illegally spread an insecticide which led to the deaths of dozens of neighbouring bee colonies. The 47-year-old man had spread a powerful insecticide called chlorpyrifos over his trees in the Lavanttal area of Carinthia province, at a time when their blossoms were still attracting bees. The court in the city of Klagenfurt found the fruit grower guilty of "deliberately damaging the environment", pointing to his experience and role in training others in his field as evidence that he knew the consequences of his actions. |
