Government to forgive Corinthian Colleges student loans Posted: 10 Jun 2015 02:52 PM PDT The US Department of Education says it will forgive the federal loans of tens of thousands of students who attended the now-bankrupt Corinthian Colleges. "I am committed to ensuring that every student has access to an education that will put them on solid footing for a career, and I will hold schools accountable for practices that undercut their students and taxpayers," said US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. |

Know How to Resolve Student Loan Disputes Posted: 10 Jun 2015 07:30 AM PDT In federal fiscal year 2014, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau received more than 5,300 complaints from consumers about their private student loans.
