AP - A federal lawsuit seeking $20 million in damages was filed Monday against Fairfield University, the Society of Jesus and a Colorado man sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison for sexually abusing children at a school he founded in Haiti.

AP - In an April 12 story about delays to a Texas Senate bill that would allow concealed handgun license holders to carry weapons into college classrooms, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the University of Texas-Brownsville asked to be exempt because it has a grade school on campus. The school that asked for the exemption is Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Congress Introduces Bill to Improve Graduation Rates (U.S. News & World Report)

U.S. News & World Report - Members of Congress recently introduced a bill that would require states to improve graduation rates to 90 percent and to report data uniformly. It's expected to be pushed through with a revamping of the No Child Left Behind Act.
