5 Ways to Retire Early

Posted: 15 Jun 2015 07:53 AM PDT

Early retirement is a dream for some people, and a nightmare for others. Many baby boomers have been booted out of the workplace in their 50s, unexpectedly and unceremoniously, while they still have a mortgage, a car loan and college tuition bills. People who are thrown into early retirement are typically left to their own devices.

Robitussin for Brain Cancer, Part II

It's important for students to manage their time in an online course. Adjusting to a learning management system and other technology used in online learning can be a challenge for students before they even start to tackle their course work, says Lisa Knowles, a senior student services coordinator in Boston University's distance education office. Experts also say many online students have full-time jobs, families or other obligations, including unforeseen ones, which can make it more difficult to stay on top of their online course work.

High School Teachers Share How to Say Goodbye to Seniors

Posted: 15 Jun 2015 05:00 AM PDT

"It's really bittersweet," says Starr Sackstein, an English and journalism teacher at World Journalism Preparatory School in Flushing, New York. Saying goodbye to high school seniors in an extra special way can make graduation even more memorable and doesn't have to require much money. Teachers on Twitter agreed that small celebrations and letters were a good way to say goodbye.
