Studying in the U.S. can turn into a very costly experience if students don't plan ahead and budget their money accordingly. For some students, it might even be impossible to pursue their studies in the States, given average annual tuition of more than $30,000 at four-year private colleges. I was one of those students, too. I dreamed of earning my master's degree in the U.S. before committing to a regular job, and I knew I wouldn't be able to live that dream if I didn't find a way to pay for it.
